Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 June 2026

This policy explains how Enbod Technologies Private Limited (“Ashovaa”, “we”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use Ashovaa, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable rules.

1. Data we collect

  • Account & contact: name, phone number, delivery addresses, and the names of dependants you order for.
  • Health data: prescriptions you upload and any allergies or current medicines you record. This is sensitive data and we process it only to fulfil and make your orders safe.
  • Order & payment: order history, amounts, and payment status. Card/UPI details are handled by our payment partner — we do not store full payment instrument details.
  • Technical: device and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Why we use it (purposes)

  • To accept, verify, prepare and deliver your orders.
  • To allow the fulfilling pharmacist to verify prescriptions and flag allergy or interaction risks.
  • To process payments and refunds.
  • To provide support, send order updates, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with: the licensed pharmacy fulfilling your order; the delivery partner assigned to it (limited to what's needed to deliver); and our payment processor for online payments. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Consent

We ask for your consent before processing your data, including specific consent to process health data for Rx orders. You can withdraw consent or change preferences in the app, though some features (such as Rx orders) may not work without the related data.

5. Retention

We keep personal and order data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements (for example, records relating to the dispensing of medicines), after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

Prescriptions and personal data are stored on access-controlled infrastructure; prescription files are kept in private storage reachable only by you and the pharmacy serving your order. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

7. Your rights

Subject to the DPDP Act, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may raise grievances. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@ashovaa.com.

8. Children

Ashovaa is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Caregivers may order on behalf of dependants.

9. Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised version here. Questions? Email support@ashovaa.com.
